Migrating to CHAIR
Switching from Booksy
These steps help you prepare copies of the data Booksy makes available. CHAIR does not import them automatically: submit a migration-help request and a person will review the available fields, confirm the scope, and explain the next step. Keep client data private until then.
Export your clients
Prepare the provider’s supported export. The CHAIR team will confirm which records and fields can be used.
Email Booksy UK support
Write to info.gb@booksy.com from the address connected to your Booksy account.
Ask for a copy of your client list
Booksy’s UK help article says to request the list with contact details from its Support Team. It does not promise a file format or delivery time.
Keep the response private
When Booksy supplies the copy, hold it until CHAIR replies to your migration-help request with the next step.
Prepare your services
Prepare the service fields your provider actually includes. CHAIR will confirm each mapping and flag variants, bundles, or staff rules that need manual setup.
Ask Booksy about a current service export
We could not verify a public UK help article for exporting the service catalogue. Check with Booksy Support in case your account has an option that is not publicly documented.
Prepare a fallback copy
If Booksy cannot supply an export, screenshots or a spreadsheet of names, prices, durations, variants, and staff differences give the CHAIR team something to review.
Heads up: Booksy’s official UK article confirms the client-list request by email but publishes no response-time promise. Do not rely on a “within minutes” estimate.
What happens after you request help
- 1
Your request is recorded
CHAIR shows an on-screen receipt and, when email delivery succeeds, sends a confirmation to your contact address.
- 2
A person reviews the scope
Support confirms which client, service, and future-appointment fields are compatible and gives you an expected timeline.
- 3
The transfer route is agreed
Support confirms an approved transfer route before asking for a file. If none is available, keep the export private and continue with the agreed manual setup. Do not attach client exports to email, live chat, or WhatsApp.
- 4
You verify before going live
If data is added, compare record counts, service prices and durations, and upcoming appointments with the original. Keep your old system available until that review is complete.
